I don't remember any of the details as to the when or why I began to love Zelda––or even much else about it for that matter––but that's okay. I love her now and that's all that really matters to me. Unlike some of my other favorite characters, whom I can never seem to shut up about, I have never been very vocal about my liking of Zelda. I'm not sure why that is. From the way I'd always talk you would assume that Link was my absolute favorite character from the series (he does rank pretty high, but it's mostly just Link from Ocarina of Time I'm really into). But yeah, I'm gonna fix that right now.
One of the things that made Zelda appeal to me was her beauty and grace. I'm not exactly sure why that is but I find them to be greatly appealing attributes. Another thing I find appealing is that Zelda is exceptionally smart and I can't help but be drawn to her because of it. However, I don't think it's so much that she's smart that makes her appealing to me so much as how she uses her knowledge and responds to various situations that really stands out to me. She uses her knowledge to protect others with everything she has, and even though she may make mistakes along the way, it only shows that even she is still human (err, Hylian?). I guess you could say I have this thing about characters like her.
